Change the page labels on a link bar

Important   You cannot change the page labels of a link bar with back and next links.

Do one of the following:

Change the page labels on a link bar based on the navigation structure

1. In Navigation view, right-click the page whose label you want to change.
2. Click Rename.
3. Type the label of the page you want to display in the link bar.

Change the page labels on a custom link bar

1. Double-click the link bar.
2. Under Links, double-click the page whose label you want to change.
3. In the Text to display box, type the label of the page you want to display in the link bar.

Note   If you change a link bar in a shared border, the change will affect all pages using that shared border.
