Troubleshoot text formatting

I want to set the spacing of individual letters within a word (kerning).

Kerning, which is the selective spacing between pairs of letters, is not supported by Microsoft FrontPage.

• You can, however, expand or condense all the letters in a word.

  How?

  In Page view, do the following:

  1. Select the text, right-click, and then click Font on the shortcut menu.
  2. Click the Character Spacing tab.
  3. In the Spacing box, click Expanded or Condensed to change the spacing of text.
  4. In the By box, enter a number to specify, in points, how much you want to increase or decrease the space between characters.

When I try to insert a plain bullet, it is unavailable from the Bullets and Numbering dialog box.

If your page is using a theme, Plain Bullets will be unavailable because themes use their own kind of bullets.

• To use Plain Bullets, you will need to remove the theme from the page.

  How?

  1. In Folders view, select the pages from which you want to remove a theme.
  2. On the Format menu, click Theme.
  3. Click Selected pages.
  4. In the list, click No Theme.
